Our BLACK GOLD Program was introduced in 1990. It allows a customer to lock in a capped or ceiling price for the season’s #2 heating oil. Our program differs from many of our competitors programs by actually crediting a customer’s budget or prepayment account when they receive oil at less than their locked in price.

While there are no guarantees that the price will be lower, it has been for a portion of six of the past eight seasons. The BLACK GOLD Program offers peace of mind. It’s like buying an insurance policy. If prices skyrocket...you know your price is locked in, if prices drop...you get billed a fair price. What more could you ask for?

If you ever find yourself without heat…
Before you call for service, check:

•	Your Thermostat. If not set properly, increase by five degrees and see if heater starts.
•	Make sure all electrical switches are on.
•	Your fuse or circuit breaker. Replace blown fuses carefully. Do not increase the amperage.
•	Your oil tank. Be sure you have enough oil and that the oil valve is open.
•	The level of boiler water on steam systems. If low, open valve and fill boiler to proper level. Close valve tightly when proper level is reached.
•	Press reset button on stack control once, if everything else is in order. If burner starts and runs only momentarily, turn burner off and call us.
